Thanks for your recent comment. The words you use "explicate" and "implicit" remind me of David Bohm's work. He developed a way of seeing the material forms in our universe as arising from a deeper or "higher" structure that he referred to as the "implicate" or "Superimplicate" order. Unfortunately I'm not that familiar with his scientific work so I can't make any fruitful comments on it's relationship to the dialogue process. He did use the word "unfolding" with respect to meaning which he did connect with the dialogue. He also wrote that a "change in meaning is a change in being" which I have found to be helpful in understanding how behavioral change takes place within the context of history and culture.
